I just switched from my old Sony Ericsson K750i (3-years old!) to the brand new Nokia N85.
First thing to do, get rid of the Orange theme, it’s ugly and barely usable.
To connect to your Wifi, you might need to find out your mac-address (if you’re protecting your access point as such). To do so, type *#62209526# into your phone. you’ll get the mac address of the phone.
I’m on a Mac, I have a mix of mp3 and itunes music. Nokia has come up with a very nice tool to sync your iTunes and iPhoto libraries with the phone, go get the Nokia Multimedia Transfer tool.
The phone has a GPS chip and Nokia Maps software. Nokia provides an application to upload the maps on your phone, Nokia Map Loader. It is available for Mac.
Google Reader Mobile can be found at http://www.google.com/reader/m.
If you are lucky enough to get an unlimited data plan (I do, French Orange gives us an unlimited data plan, well limited to 500MB but that should do it just fine…), Mobbler is a must to have, it is a Last.fm radio player and scrobbler for Nokia S60 smartphones.
Stay connected.
Update:
Mobitubia to view Youtube videos.

Good blog! I really love how it is easy on my eyes and the data are well written. I am wondering how I might be notified whenever a new post has been made. I’ve subscribed to your RSS feed which must do the trick! Have a great day! “Reputation is what other people know about you. Honor is what you know about yourself.” by Lois McMaster Bujold.
