In the process of moving all sites, I had to move my blog from jroller here. Before I got it working, I was puzzled by an obscure error message that I did not understand.

Everytime I was hitting http://blog.L2FProd.com I would get Blog is not defined. I had no clue who was generating this text. I had the right VirtualHost settings in Apache.

At some point I noticed something weird with the icon for the site in the address bar (the favico file). It was this image: the Gandi website icon!

Finally I figured it out and the solution was in the DNS records. When I attached my virtual hosting share to my domain name, Gandi generated a default DNS zone file with an entry for the “blog” subdomain pointing to the Gandi Blog software! I removed the entry and voilà now the blog works.
