A brief introduction to Ruby, JRuby, Ruby On Rails, JRuby On Rails. Nothing really new to me as I had played with Ruby On Rails already and with JRuby On Rails last week.

Although there was one new exciting stuff I discovered: GoldSpike or how to package your JRuby on Rails app into a war file deployable on GlashFish with just one rake command. Pretty impressive and promising to just drop your JoR app on your app server.

Next thing on the line is JSR 296: The Swing Application Framework with Joshua Marinacci; Hans Muller.
